Rite Source Inflator Shut-Off
The RiteSource Inline Shut-off Kit allows a diver to isolate the diluent supply in case of a leak or free-flow from their RiteSource. For those who use the RiteSource in a decompression or overhead environment for bailout or “sanity breaths”, the ability to isolate is practically a must. Those divers who incorporate the RiteSource for on-board bailout may also find this kit valuable. The kit includes one 6-inch LP hose, one 18-inch LP hose, one inline shut off valve, one RiteSource quick disconnect to low pressure hose adapter and a hose coupler.
Solenoid Shut-Off
The Solenoid Inline Shut-off Valve allows a diver to isolate the solenoid, in case the solenoid starts to leak oxygen into the loop or completely fails in the open position. This allows the diver to keep their oxygen supply valve in the open position and easily control PO2 via manual addition without having to turn on/turn off their supply valve. This can be invaluable to an already task-loaded diver in the middle of a decompression or overhead dive where other tasks are also necessary to perform.
Canister Caps
Canister Dust Caps seal the O2ptima FX canister when the loop hoses are removed, protecting the head and scrubber cartridge from moisture and dust when not in use. These come in handy for those who wish to store their head in their garage or for those who are doing a repair on their breathing loop on a boat where salt water spray is inevitable. The cap for the inhalation canister fitting has left-hand threads, whereas the cap for the exhalation canister fitting has right-hand threads. They also serve to protect the threads on the canister fittings when the loop hoses are disconnected.
Solenoid External Plug
The Solenoid External Thread Cap is a stainless steel cap that covers the oxygen inlet. It serves two purposes: to protect the oxygen inlet’s threads when traveling and to prevent contaminants from entering the solenoid system. They are especially useful to those divers who reside close to a saltwater environment, because long exposures to ocean air could potentially corrode solenoids.
2nd Stage Quick Connector
The O2 Bailout Quick Disconnect adapter attaches to a second stage regulator, where the hose would normally connect. This tool allows a diver to connect a second stage into the manual addition oxygen hose for emergency, open-circuit decompression use (in case of total loop failure). The O2 Bailout Quick Disconnect is designed to work only on the oxygen cylinder at 20 feet or shallower. At deeper depths, the restrictor will not deliver enough gas to the second stage.
